Green card question-How many hours do you have to work to maintain your green card status?

Someone told me it was 40 hours/week,someone else said it can be a part time job,but it has to be a steady job.I checked the government website, but I couldn't figure it out.|||if you have a greencard you can work as much or little as you want, there is no rule.

However, if you had your greencard less than 5 years you won't get any government assistance or other social services. So you have to work enough to support yourself if you don't want to live on the street.|||There is no required working hours for a green card status. Many female foreigners marry a US husband and stay at home without working at all while maintaining their green cards. On the other hand, the US citizen sponsoring someone for a green card has to show adequate income in order to get approval.|||Your green card has nothing to do with the number of hours (if any ) you work
