I'm 17,got a full ride scholarship, no citizen status, too late to get adopted. How can i get a green card?Help?

We were told by attorneys, marriage would be the only way to get a green card, do you think the college may waive my immigrant status with no ss# and no green card?|||Most private and many public colleges don't care about your immigration status. They realize that you're too young to legalize yourself and you can't get a student visa. Most schools get that you're stuck between a rock and a hard place and usually work with you. Not all but most schools are accommodating. The scholarship question is a different matter and I took care of that on your other question.|||get married it's never too late!|||Are you sure your attorney told you that marriage would be the only way to get a green card?

Every attorney knows that it is a crime for an American citizen to marry an illegal alien in order to obtain a green card or to help them stay in the United States. It is a felony punishable by imprisonment and the illegal alien will be detained by the INS and/or FBI and deported.

You will be denied the scholarship because you are an illegal alien and don't qualify. You should have told the truth from the beginning instead of sneaking around trying to take the scholarship that rightfully belongs to a deserving AMERICAN CITIZEN.|||Obama, Pelosi, Reid and almost all the Dems in Congress are committed to giving a mass amnesty to illegal aliens. It may not happen next year, but it will certainly occur by 2010. Only a GOP filibuster in the Senate can stop it from happening.

The Obama Biden Immigration Plan http://change.gov/agenda/immigration_age鈥?/a>

For too long, politicians in Washington have exploited the immigration issue to divide the nation rather than find real solutions. Our broken immigration system can only be fixed by putting politics aside and offering a complete solution that secures our border, enforces our laws, and reaffirms our heritage as a nation of immigrants.

Create Secure Borders: Protect the integrity of our borders. Support additional personnel, infrastructure and technology on the border and at our ports of entry.

Improve Our Immigration System: Fix the dysfunctional immigration bureaucracy and increase the number of legal immigrants to keep families together and meet the demand for jobs that employers cannot fill.

Remove Incentives to Enter Illegally: Remove incentives to enter the country illegally by cracking down on employers who hire undocumented immigrants.

MASS AMNESTY: Bring People Out of the Shadows: Support a system that allows undocumented immigrants who are in good standing to pay a fine, learn English, and go to the back of the line for the opportunity to become citizens.

Work with Mexico: Promote economic development in Mexico to decrease illegal immigration.
