There is requirement that a green card holder must reside in US for 60 months to get the US passport. but a person can travel outside US for a certain time period without affecting the citizenship requirement status. i just need to clairfy that what is the maimum number of days i could stay outsude US without affecting the limit of 60 Months stay at US.|||In terms of Continuous Residence for US citizenship purposes, If you leave the United States for more than 6 months, you are no longer eligible.
