Can i apply for a green card as a asylee if i'm under Temporary Protected Status?

Im wanting to apply for a green card, im currently here under the Temporary Protected Status for Honduras. This would help lower my tuition in school and open a lot more opportunities for me. any help will be appreciated.|||No. You are under TPS, not asylum. You cannot apply for a Green Card under TPS. Believe it or not, under TPS you are expected to return home at some point in the future. That's what the "T" means.... Temporary.|||There is no way you can apply for asylum or obtain any green card. TPS is Temporary! You are required to return to your own country, and cannot remain in the US. You have no choice but to return to Honduras, then if you ever qualified, apply for legal entry, visa, immigration, whatever you qualify for at that time.|||You cannot file for a green card while you are on TPS. When the TPS for your country is no longer extended, you are going to have to return home. You have only been given permission to stay here temporarily.|||sorry buddy, you can't apply for a greencard. you can try, but be prepared to waste the money and receive a denial letter.
