Is it possible to remove someone from their green card status by calling immigration?

For instance my nephew got a green card, and is 19 years of age, i filed the papers for him through adoption. But since he got the green card he is not using it for his good, instead of maybe applying for a job he just stays at home and is not using it to his advantage, he hasn't commited any crime though.|||No its not possible to remove someone from their green card status.

If you for any reason ask for the same you will be questioned first since you were the one who filed the papers through adoption.

Always think before you do some thing like this which involves legal issues.|||he is 19 years old, therefore, he isn't your responsibility. make him move out.|||No, there is nothing you can do but kick him out and let him learn that he needs to grow up and get a job.|||nop, unless he commits a felony.|||The INS is impotent. Make so by our do-nothing Congress and all of the politicians who choose to look the other way as our country is over run by people who come hear to make money and who could care less about our borders, culture and language.|||And....why would you even want to do such a thing?

Even if it were possible, like being a lazy couch potato would make you lose your green card, which would not, why would you even want to do such a thing? For your "adopted" nephew to just become an illegal lazy couch potato?

He's 19. He's an adult. Kick him out.

Okay, be nice...find him a job and give him the choice of taking the job of hitting the road.|||well as long as he is under your legal care? until he is a citizen? he is under your care,

there is nothing much you can do

.trow his butt out at sun set, and threaten him and only let him in at night? do not give him one dime, nothing!

scare him, tell him the immigration called about him and income taxes? he ought to believe this? and wanted to know about renewing his green card, but have not seen any income taxes filed by him nor school records? and that immigration thought he was a public ?charge? that ought to scare him?

that shows you how to be kind to family? pfffffft
