How to check the status of one's green card?

Hi!

I was wondering if there are any online means for checking the status of my green card. The thing is that I was recently denied a reentry visa (after 3 years of absence from the US), but the consulate neither took my green card nor told me that it was revoked.|||The green card is merely a proof of your status. The consulate is of the opinion you have abandoned your permanent resident status. However, only an immigration judge can truly relieve you of it without your own volition.

If you want to try for a judicial remedy, enter over the Canadian or Mexican land border. Your magic words to the border guard are: "I'm a permanent resident". When they tell you that you no longer are, insist that you want your rights in front of an immigration judge. Eventually after letting you stew for a while, they'll parole you in for a later hearing.

It would be sensible to work out your plan of action with an immigration attorney experienced in abandonment issues before you do this to ascertain whether you have any case with a chance of success for the future hearing..|||My friend when your having a green card it means your legal permanent resident of the united states not the citizen, If you leave united states and go to another country while your an LPR ( Legal Permanent Resident a Green Card Holder) and stay over there from more than 6 months your green card automatically revokes. As a green card holder you are not allowed to stay outside the United States for more than 6 months. Your are suppose to return to United States within 6 months.|||You are an LPR ... until a judge says you are not ...period .. there is no automatic revocation

If you have been out for three years the judge will probably revoke
