I once got charged with a MIP and later took a diversion program, will this affect my green card status?

minor in possession of alcohol. I had a green card for 7 years. Will this affect my green card status, risk deportation, or affect my future naturalization efforts?|||yes you mention it, and go back to court and have all the disposition papers printed and notarized. they want to see what happen, how much you paid and all that. if you dont mention, and they will find it, it will be worse.

how long ago does that happen. if it is not a major felonies, like murder, drugs, etc, they can be considered as "temporary bars", when you apply for naturalization.

they look at your "moral charcter", and any record would not be good, but something minor after 7 years you ve had your GC, most likely, you just admit to it, appologize and dont do it again.

depending when that happened, they might hold on to giving you citizenship, and give you some time... go volunteer or something:)

i doubt you are up for any deportation. this is just not that crazy. stay out of trouble and you will be ok. the best thing with them is to be honest.
