I received a temporary green card in 2009 after marrying a US citizen and will be allowed to apply for a permanent green card beginning June 2010.
However, as fate now has it, I am interested in starting a business together with my wife (US citizen) back in my native Canada. Is there a way for me to be able to do that without losing my green card status in the US?|||Yes, but what would be the point?
Canada, the United States and Mexico are soon to be moulded together to form the North American Soviet Union.
This is the truth.|||You can get a re-entry permit that will allow you you to stay out for up to two years then the green card has gone
the better way of course is to wait until you have your citizenship ..then the problem is moot|||Green card is for a Permanent Resident of the US. If you move outside the US, you will no longer be a permanent resident, and will no longer be able to keep your green card.
