How does this work with changing status of holding a social security card?
If a person have a social security card and the persons credit is messed up will it still affect that person after that person becomes a citizen?|||Creditors and the credit bureaus use social security numbers as identifiers, but bad credit really has nothing to do with the social security administration or your citizenship status. Negative items on your credit report will still be there after you become a citizen.

Basically i m a greencard holder and i have also applied for US Citizenship. Help to get someone legal status (green card) for the United States.?
Someone i know is using a lawyer's office to help with the paperwork and her petition to get legal status...green card. It seems legit but seems to me the lawyer is charging a high price for this service. What benefit is there using a lawyer. Is it just the paper work they perform, to make it easier for you. They cannot put your paper work on top of the pile at the immigration office anyway. Is there any free immigration services in New York City that one can recommend. If someone has aslylum status and has not applied for green card after one year?
Hello , i just want to ask if someone has asylum status and has not applied for a green card after the one year waitng period, and his EAD expired a couple months ago,does he neeeds to apllied for a new EAD when he sent the paper for a green card I-485? or just file the I 485?|||Your asylum or refugee status is indefinite.
